At sunrise, Wednesday June 6th, Venus transiting between the earth and the sun will be visible as a dot moving across the face of the fiery ball. Not to be a harbinger of bad luck (tieh! tieh!), but it probably will be the only occasion in Italy in our lifetimes, according to http://transitofvenus.org/june2012/where-to-be.
